The mountain rises majestically above the resort, its height is 1876 metres above sea level. Back in the early twentieth century, a road was built to the top of Mamzishki, along which observation platforms were arranged. From the bird's-eye view opens a magnificent panorama of Gagra, Pitsunda and the surrounding area - the coast, drowning in an ocean of subtropical vegetation, and the sea surface, turquoise carpet flowing to the horizon. The mountain relief ideal for skiing and favourable combination of sea and mountain climatic peculiarities (abundance of sun, clean rarefied air, ionised and filled with resinous vapours of forests, crystal springs) make Mamzishkhu attractive for many researchers. Long-term scientific study of its climatic factors has established that the mountain has all the data of the best mountain resorts in Europe. On the northern slopes of the mountain ski tracks can be used up to 7 months a year.
