The Aurora Tower is a 207 metre skyscraper in Brisbane, the second tallest the second tallest building in the city and the first when measured to the roof. However, in the near future. it will be surpassed by the Soleil and Infinity buildings currently under construction.
It was assumed, to ensure the safety of the residents of the building will be used technology recognising iris recognition technology, but so far this technology has not been implemented. Also problems have been intermittent with the intercom system and the functioning of the of the lifts. And Aurora residents are also unhappy with the lack of parking spaces.
The tower tower is located near the central railway station, next to the Queens Plaza and Queens Street Mall, the Winter Garden and Elizabeth Street. The tower overlooks Brisbane landmarks such as the Story Bridge, the Central Plaza shopping centre and Brisbane City Hall.
