The Big Pineapple Amusement Park is a tourist attraction and working farm located in the town of Woombye on the Sunshine Coast. The park's main "building", constructed in the shape of a large pineapple 16 metres high, was opened on 15 August 1971.

There are two amazing rides in the park: one on the "Nut-mobile" and the other on a small train that takes passengers to a real pineapple plantation and then, if desired, drop them off at a small zoo. During the journey, the driver will talk about the plants grown on the plantation, and the history of the place. At the mini-zoo you can feed the animals - an Australian Australian dingo dog, deer, donkey, alpaca, piglets, chickens, ducklings and a variety of birds. You can also see how the macadamia nut is grown here.

The park was started in 1971, when the Taylor family purchased a small pineapple farm (23 hectares) on the off side of the Bruce Highway. Within a year, the Big Pineapple received its first award from the Australian National Tourism Association for tourism development in Queensland. In 1984, the first tours on the "Noot-mobile" began and the Queensland's Hidden Treasures exhibition was opened, showing visitors to the the minerals and gemstones mined in the state. In 1986, the park expanded to 113 hectares. In 1991, the Rainforest Stop opened, during which passengers of the Noot-mobile could wander through the pristine forest surrounding the park. forest surrounding the park. Last year, the park had new owners who plan to further add a number of attractions and recreational opportunities for tourists.
