Wet'n'Wild Amusement Park is a huge water park located in the town of Oxenford on Australia's Gold Coast. In 2009, it had 1 million and 95 people, making it the most visited park in Australia and the eighth most visited in the in the world!

The park, which opened on 30 September 1984, was built at a cost of 18 million Australian dollars. The original name - "Cade's Country Waterpark" - was changed in 1987 to the current name "Wet'n'Wild". And I have to say, it's a name that perfectly captures the essence of the park - after its visit you get wet to the skin, but overflowing with of wild excitement!

Perhaps the most popular attraction of the park is a unique "Kamikaze", the only one of its kind in the southern hemisphere. It's a U-shaped slide, where visitors sit in a two-person chamber at one end of the slide and begin to go down a steep slope at breakneck speed, before flying out the other side and crash down again. The skating continues as long as the camera is travelling inertia. Another dizzying ride, the "Tornado", is a four-seat cloverleaf-shaped funnel that starts spinning at speeds of up to 40 kilometres an hour, and then suddenly slows down. In the "Black Hole", visitors in total darkness down a dashing twisting slide at a decent speed.

You can tickle your nerves on the "Aqua Loop": it is four loop-shaped slides, which you can go down at speeds of up to 60 kilometres an hour and then plunge into the pool, with a fountain of spray!

Younger children will love "Pirate's Cove" - a play area divided into two sections. The first contains water slides and rides, in the second - shallow pools.

For them, as well as for all those who have an adrenaline level adrenaline level is already off the charts, there is "Callipso's Beach", a calm boat ride on an artificial river.

In general, in the park you can really have fun: you can swim in a giant - 3 million litres of water! - tidal pool, go rafting on the "Mammoth Falls", ride the roller coaster, try your hand at roller skating, try your hand as an expert surfer and just get a lot of fun and unforgettable impressions.
