The National Wine Centre of Australia (or simply "The Wine Centre") is an amazing museum of South Australian wine and winemaking, with over 10,000 different varieties of local wines on display! Here you can not only learn about the history and technology of wine making (from harvest to bottling), but also taste different varieties of Australian wines and compare their flavours.

The permanent interactive tour "Wine Research Expedition" makes good use of modern technology: for example, holograms of famous Australian winemakers tell visitors about the history of winemaking. From this tour, visitors can also learn what makes Australian wines so unique.

In addition to the stunning wine collection, the Wine Centre building itself is noteworthy - it's designed in the form of crates for storing bottles. And surrounding the building are vines - the 7 main types of vines used to make Australian wine.
