Austria

Austria (Austrian German: Österreich), officially the Republic of Austria (Austrian German: Republik Österreich), is landlocked country, situated in Central Europe amidst the stunning Eastern Alps. This country shares its borders with various nations: to its northwest lies Germany, while the north is bordered by the Czech Republic. Moving towards the northeast Austria connects with Slovakia, with Hungary to the east. The southern boundaries are shared with Slovenia and Italy, while to the west Austria is adjacent to Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
