The Shrine of Notre Dame de Misericorde (Our Lady of Mercy), commonly known as Cotonou Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic church. It is located near the Ancien Pont (Old Bridge) bridge.

A distinctive feature of the cathedral's architecture is the stripes of white and red ceramic tiles with which the entire building is clad. Inside, the striped style is supported in the design of the beige and brown arches above the pews. There is a turret near the rear end wall of the building.

The cathedral is the seat of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cotonou. The diocese was established on 26 June 1883 in the Apostolic Prefecture of Dahomey and was under the authority of the Apostolic Vicar of Benin and the Nigerian coast. Following the renaming of the country on 14 September 1955, the Vicar was appointed Metropolitan of the Archdiocese of Cotonou.
