We recommend everyone who has visited Bolivia to take a walk along the most famous street in the country - Jaen. It is also called the Street of Museums. This place appears in all tourist guides of the country. As they say, there are museums on every "square" metre. Museo de Metales Preciosos and Museo Costumbrista are museums of the history of the state, the rise of Bolivia in the era of the extraction of huge amounts of silver, and its fall after the rich deposits were plundered and devastated. A sacred place for all Bolivians is the House Museum of Pedro Domingo Murillo, the man who proclaimed the country's independence. Everyone in the country feels obliged to visit his house at least once in their lives. The cobblestones of Jaén Street still preserve the memory of how he walked vigorously through these places, reflecting on the freedom and independence of his country. In addition to museum attractions, national souvenirs can be purchased on the street.
