Just 11 kilometres from La Paz is the Moon Valley, which is quite unusual in its kind. With its bizarre relief it really resembles the surface of the moon. It is a labyrinth of cliffs and canyons, craters and hollows. This beautiful place is fenced, and is popular with tourists. Here they can feel like real explorers who have landed on the moon. Albeit on a very miniature planet, but rich in bizarre turrets and figures of quite unusual shapes. Some of the most unusual shapes have been given their own names. A popular spot for photographs is the Turtle figure.
