Ethiopia

Ethiopia, officially the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, stands as a landlocked country nestled in the Horn of Africa within the East African region. It shares borders with Eritrea to the northern side, Djibouti to the northeast, Somalia stretching across the eastern and southeastern borders, Kenya to the south, South Sudan embracing the western perimeter, and Sudan marking the northwest border. Encompassing a vast expanse, Ethiopia blankets an area spanning 1,112,000 square kilometers (472,000 square miles).
