The delightful and fragrant landscape park "Isopuisto" is spread over an area of more than 8 hectares around the Orthodox Church of St. Nicholas, built in the style of neoclassicism by Russian architect Jacob Perrin in 1799-1801. This church is very famous for its valuable and unusual icons. Before entering the church from early spring to late autumn, visitors are surprised by the beauty of a flowerbed with luxurious tulips and perennials.

“Isopuisto” is a favorite vacation spot for townspeople who have picnics on the well-kept lawns, play ball with their children, do physical exercise, and walk their four-legged pets. The park has a small swimming pool for adults and a special swimming area for children.

In honour of the famous Russian physicist A.S. Popov, who discovered radio communication between the two Finnish islands, a monument and a memorial plaque have been erected here.
