One of the most of the most interesting monuments of the Second World War is the Lokki Communications Centre, located in the caves of Naisvuori. It was the communications centre of the General Staff of the Army, which was responsible for communication lines, telephone and teletype communications.
In an adjacent cave was the territorial observation centre, the German communications centre, the air defence centre and a recreation room. Locky's staff averaged 100-130 people, predominantly women. The museum has telephones, radio equipment, an intercom station from the 1940s, weapons, equipment of Finnish soldiers.
The communications centre is open to the public from the beginning of May to the end of August.
