A small farm where reindeer are raised is located 7 kilometres from the city of Rovaniemi. Visitors are welcomed by the farm manager, who introduces the working conditions and his horned charges.
During the tour you will learn about the culture and life of the ancient Laplanders, the routine of the reindeer herder's working day. Here you can sit with him by the fire, ride in a traditional Lapland sledge pulled by reindeer through the snow-covered forest.
Each visitor will not only take away unforgettable impressions, but if they wish, they can also get a driving licence to drive a reindeer - the local vehicle.
After crossing the Arctic Circle, everyone is given a certificate. Visitors can also take part in an ice fishing championship. All heroes are invited to the main chum, where a solemn ceremony of initiation into the Lapdandians is held. Afterwards, a festive dinner is served, where the main treat is a traditional Lapland dish - roast venison with lingonberries and mashed potatoes.
