30 km from Savonlinna is the unique art centre "Retretti" - one of the largest in the Scandinavian countries. The exposition of this museum is located in a man-made underground cave. Here you can see the works of Finnish and foreign painters. Artificial waterfalls and lakes are used in the decoration, as well as light, sound and shadow special effects.
