Sapokka Park, recognised as the most environmentally friendly centre, is built with using different types of natural stones and the best lighting. It is water park has received the largest number of Finnish awards in various categories in its history.

Sapokka is surrounded by a bay that is shaped like a boot. Not surprisingly, there are versions of the origin of the park's name from the Russian word for boot (in Russian it sounds [sa'pog]). But this is only the guesswork of resourceful tourists.

Twenty-metre rumbling waterfall, breaking up into small streams, beautiful ponds and diverse vegetation with a unique fragrance in summer, bright colours in autumn and a silent frozen bay in winter invite you to visit the beautiful Sapokka Water Park at any time of the year.

In addition to hiking, locals and tourists alike jogging, play and frolic with children, and make dates. In the summer in the evenings in Sapokka you can catch small concerts and performances, on the special summer stage.

An amazing combination of three components: water, stone and light creates a feeling of complete harmony and peace in the park.
