My Application

This unusual museum, dedicated to the fairy-tale characters from the books of the writer Tove Jansson Jansson, is located on the underground floor of the city's library (the building is called a "grouse" because of its shape). 

In the halls of the museum there is a cosy semi-darkness, creating a fantastic atmosphere of the of a magical valley, in which lives a cheerful family of mummy trolls. The museum's collection includes 2,000 drawings, sketches, book illustrations made by the not only for troll stories, but also for Lewis Carroll's and J.Tolkien's works. and J.Tolkien.

Here are puppets depicting the inhabitants of the valley of the mummy trolls, fairy-tale scenes from their lives, models of two mummy houses.

The jewel of this collection is a large blue house, 2.5 metres high, which as lighting on each of the five floors, from the bathroom to the living room, and in the corner of a secret corridor there's a hidden treasure. Mounted on the tower of the dancing roof. a lighthouse, always emits a bright light. The interior of this fairy-tale dwelling can be explored in detail using a computer programme. All you have to do to get comfortable and immerse yourself in the magical world of these cute and strange creatures.
