How to get there

Disneyland Paris is located in the suburbs of Paris, in the town of Marne-la-Vallee. It can be reached from the city by car. The cost of parking for a passenger car is 30 euros. But more often it is easier for tourists to get there by metro, as the entrance to Disneyland is right in front of the exit from the metro. You need to take line A to the Marne-la-Vallee-Chessy station.

To get from Charles de Gaulle or Orly airport, you can take a taxi. The cost of such a trip will be approximately 100-120 euros. A taxi rank is easy to find near the terminal exit. A cheaper option is the Magical Shuttle bus. This is a VEA shuttle bus that runs every 45 minutes. An adult ticket costs 23 euros and a children's ticket costs 10 euros.

To get to Disneyland you can also take the RER train. But it is worth considering that this way takes quite a long time. For example, from Orly airport you will have to make two transfers.

Which park to go to

There are two parks at once in the Disneyland Paris complex. Each of them is interesting in its own way. To visit both in one day will be problematic. Walt Disney Studios Park

One of the most favourite children's attractions, based on the cartoon "Ratatouille". Here you have to ride in a wagon in the form of a mouse. You get the feeling of being in the kitchen of a Parisian restaurant, where a talented mouse prepares his culinary masterpieces.

Finding Nemo

The Finding Nemo attraction is one of the top five attractions in all of Disneyland Paris. Visitors board a turtle-shaped carriage and embark on an exciting journey that mimics the underwater world. Along the way, they are greeted by colourful decorations and projections with scenes from the cartoon. Suitable for adults and children, but there is a height restriction of 107 cm.

Tower of Terror

For those who have strong nerves, it is recommended to look at the Tower of Terror (The Hollywood Tower Hotel). This is the scariest attraction among Disneyland parks. The events take place in an abandoned hotel of the 1930s. Everything looks very realistic. There are even layers of dust in the lobby. Here you will have to walk through the boiler room and the dark library. And also take a ride on the lift, which offers a view of the chilling scenes. The height limit is 102 cm, but it is better to be guided by the level of courage of a child. There's something wonderful about the Tower of Terror, too - great views of Disneyland.

Avengers Campus

Fans of the MARVEL universe will find the Marvel Avengers Campus in the park. Here visitors will find a Hero Training Centre, joint missions with Iron Man, Captain Marvel and Spider-Man, a dance challenge from the Guardians of the Galaxy. There are other rides at Walt Disney Studios Park as well. But if you have yet to visit the main park, you may not waste your time on them.

Disneyland Park is the main park, where even adults will experience a child's delight. After all, this is a real fairyland, where Disney characters come to life. The structure of the park is divided into thematic zones. In total, there are five.

Main Street. U.S.A.

Main Street in Disneyland Paris is bursting with shops and souvenir shops. You can buy any fairytale paraphernalia - plush cartoon characters, Mickey and Minnie Mouse ears and even dresses of Disney princesses. It is along the main street that the daily parade takes place - a grand procession of animated heroes of favourite cartoons and fairy tales.

Fantasyland

Fantasyland is a must-see for children. It is here that the famous Sleeping Beauty Castle is located. Inside the building, visitors will see colourful stained glass windows with scenes from the cartoon, a book of fairy tales and a spindle, which pricked the finger of the heroine of the fairy tale. The castle also offers a marvellous view of the whole park. And before Disneyland closes, spectators gather at the Sleeping Beauty Castle for an evening show and fireworks.

In Fantasyland we recommend visiting the attraction "It's a Small World". A skittish boat, like a river taxi, will take the spectators directly to the show of animated toys. The dolls move and dance to the beat of the music. The spectacle looks bright and enchanting. Available for children of all ages.

Here you can also wander through the Labyrinth of Alice in Wonderland. And meet the characters of the fairy tale: the Cheshire Cat, the Card Queen, the White Rabbit and others. There are no restrictions on age or height. But beware. You can get lost in the maze. And then you'll have to call the park staff for help.

Fans of extreme sports should definitely experience the Big Thunder Mountain ride at Disneyland Paris. It has been called the craziest ride in the West. Guests board a train carriage and embark on a breathtaking adventure through an abandoned mining town. The height restriction is 102 cm.

Discoveryland

Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris is based on the visions of the future of science fiction writers Jules Verne and Herbert Wells, as well as film director George Lucas. Films with holographic and stereo effects can be seen here.

• Book a day to visit Disneyland Park in advance.

• Come to the parade early to get the best seats.

• Install the official Disneyland Paris app on your mobile phone. You will be able to see the schedule of all the shows planned for the day, including the parade, find out how many minutes you have to spend in queues, and the app will also help you navigate the location of the objects on the map.

• Ask the front desk at your hotel to print out your Disneyland admission ticket, as it is only accepted in printed form.

• Leave the most popular attractions for the evening, as there are fewer people in the evening hours and queue times are shorter.

• The fastpass system that allows you to pass without queuing is a thing of the past. Disney Premier Access can now be purchased at Disneyland Paris, allowing you to bypass the queue once for one attraction or once for each available attraction. You can also purchase the service on the mobile app. The cost is 5-15 euros regular ticket and 90-150 euros ultimate with unlimited access.
