The building of the Jewish Museum was designed by Daniel Libeskind, an architect of Polish-Jewish origin now living in the USA. The entire architecture of the building is a reminder of the tragedy of the Jewish people, the Holocaust. Inside the room there is a giant crack that cuts through the building.
The exposition of the museum tells about the history and culture of the Jewish people, about the daily life of the Jewish community in Berlin.
