Approximately 10 kilometres north of Dresden is the hunting castle of Moritzburg, built in 1542-46 by order of Duke Moritz. The largest reconstruction was ordered by Augustus the Strong. Today the castle is a museum of Baroque art, which displays not only works of applied arts and paintings, but also collections of hunting rifles and trophies with the world's largest stag horns.
