Ludwigstrasse ends with the Warlords' Arcade. It is an open hall with arcaded arcades 20 metres high in the style of the Loggia dei Lanzi in Florence. The arcade, erected by Friedrich von Gertner in 1841-44 at the request of Ludwig I, there are bronze monuments in honour of the Bavarian generals Thili and Wrede. This Bavarian army monument commemorates the German-French war of 1870-71 years.
The Feldherrnhalle was the site of Hitler's failed "Beer Putsch". В As a result, the hall gained a certain cult status in Nazi propaganda and is is therefore closed for inspection.
