The Arch of Galerius was erected in 303 by order of Emperor Galerius in honour of the the victory over the Persians in 297. The arch is decorated with bas-reliefs depicting battle scenes. battle scenes.

Nearby was the palace of Galerius, but its walls have not survived everywhere even to the level of the first floor. even to the ground floor. It is best preserved in its south-eastern part on the Navarin Square. Its centrepiece is the courtyard, which is surrounded by by galleries, corridors and halls. In some places, mosaic floors have been preserved. В south-western part of the palace an Octagon (octagon) was found. Its remains show that it was a magnificent building. The few remains of the city's hippodrome, which was on its eastern side, have survived to this day.
