The Lazdukalns Dendrological Park, located in the city of Ogre, is better known to everyone under the simple name of Shpakovski Park. At the entrance to the park there is a huge decorative stone made of Devonian with the inscription "Lazdukalns Nature Park". It is a gift from the company "Ogres Buplastmasa".

On a hill in Shpakovsky Park, a staircase consisting of 100 steps was built, at the end of which there is a pond with lilies. These beautiful places are extremely popular with honeymooners. In the park you can walk along the swamp trail, which is laid across the park in the form of footbridges and is 70 meters long. There is also there is an observation tower. Climbing up it, you can admire a beautiful view of the River Daugava.

To decorate the park, Janis Špakovskis asked the Academy of Arts to allocate sculptures to the park. Thus in the park can be seen busts of writer Rudolf Blaumanis, national poet Janis Rainis.
