Therefore, one of the most popular attractions of this glorious town is the Musical Walk of Fame, where you can compare your own palm with the palm of a celebrity, and, of course, take a photo in this wonderful place.

The Music Walk of Fame in Liepaja was born on 12 May 2006. In the city it was decision was made to immortalise the achievements of famous and worthy musicians in history Latvia. It is very pleasant that gifted people and their creativity are appreciated in their lifetime.

Music Walk of Fame in Liepaja is a chain of half-metre cubes with the name of the performer and his name on them. The Music Walk of Fame in Liepaja is a chain of half-metre cubes with the performer's name and his or her palm print made of bronze and located on the top edge of the slab.

At the opening of the alley, as is customary in this case, in a solemn atmosphere cut the ribbon that was stretched between 2 snow-white guitars. This honour went to the musician Igo. Then, according to the director's idea, through an improvised gate of stringed instruments to the stage were the artists who had been honoured to receive a miniature print of their own palm in bronze. Many musicians praised Liepaja, calling it the musical capital and a wonderful city where not only the wind is born, but also talented artists. Later they left their autographs on the guitars.

At the opening of the Walk of Fame the biggest guitar in Latvia "played"! To be more precise, the light from the spotlights directed at its metal body played. What's interesting is that in Hollywood, memorial slabs of famous actors are located right on the pavement underfoot, and in Liepaja, not far from the first Latvian rock cafe on Zivju Street, slabs can be seen in a checkerboard pattern in the form of 50 cubes, on top of which are the palms of celebrities. These include Raimond Pauls, Laima Vaikule, Margarita Vilzane, Ainar Mielavs, Maria Naumova, Arnis Mednis, Ieva Akuratere, Pete Anderson and many others. The collection of stars is planned to be added every year in the spring.
