Paradise Valley is one of Morocco's most famous natural attractions. This picturesque area is located at an altitude of 1600 metres at the High Atlas Mountains, 30 kilometres from the city of Agadir. The huge and deep valley is immersed in the greenery of palm groves and orchards. Running through the Paradise Valley, a full-flowing river originates high in the mountains.

In the heart of the picturesque valley is a small Moroccan town called Immuzer. Set in a grove of palm trees, it will appeal to all lovers of nature and silence.

Since ancient times this land has been inhabited by Berbers, who practise terraced farming on the slopes of the mountains. In the 70's, the Paradise Valley area was taken over by hippies who wanted to enjoy the solitude and pristine nature.

Due to the fact that the area is famous for the production of many varieties of honey, Paradise Valley is also known as the Honey Road. Tourists can taste and buy orange, lavender and cactus honey here.

Going down the valley, one can see a river that forms interesting splashing waterfalls with deep pools filled with icy crystal clear water. Filling the cascade of pools, the water stream rushes down and spreads widely throughout the valley, creating numerous small ponds and pools.

The local air is warmed by the warm rays of the sun and filled with the fragrance of flowering trees. There are very few people in the valley itself, as no one lives here and there are not many tourists. In this silence you can hear the murmur of flowing water, birds singing, bees buzzing and the quiet rustling of leaves, while the coolness of the river and the shade of the trees give a refreshing coolness in the heat of the day. The Paradise Valley has a lot of water, so it is completely overgrown with tall palms, almond trees, cacti and many other plants.

The valley is particularly popular for the trekking paths that wind through it. Not far from Paradise Valley is an amazing waterfall of an unusual white colour, which is due to the water flowing down the limestone.
