The Chimanimani National Park encompasses almost the entire majestic Chimanimani mountain range, which crosses the country as a massive splendour with peaks reaching over 2,400 metres in height. This place will always be memorable for the avid cyclist and rock climbing enthusiast, as the peaks can only be reached either on foot or by mountain bike. Tourists are usually advised to bring their own food supplies. It is also worth remembering to treat the mountains with respect and caution, as there are often fogs and strong winds. Camping sites can be found at the foot of the mountains, and camping is allowed throughout the park. If you need to spend the night in the mountains, you can stay in the mountain huts, which are free of charge and open all year round.
