The footprints of a two-legged, three-toed dinosaur can be seen thirty kilometres north of the town of Kalkveld. This section of rock, which preserves the footprints of a creature that lived 150-185 million years ago, has been declared a natural history monument. Tourists arriving to see these unique footprints leave their names in a special guest book. Half an hour's walk from the footprints is a tourist camp called Dinosaur.
