The Goba meteorite is the largest known meteorite in the world. The date of Goba's fall to earth is at least 30,000 years ago, while the age of the space guest itself is more than a hundred million years old. Jacobus Hermanus Britz found this meteorite weighing 50 tonnes, consisting of nickel and iron, in the twenties of the last century. In the eighties, a stone amphitheatre was created around the meteorite and a wall was built to display all information about the Goba meteorite.
