The main attraction of Gross Barmen is the source of hot mineral waters with healing and rejuvenating properties. Under a huge glass roof, there is a thermal water pool with water massage installations, a small waterfall, loungers and couches for relaxation, a bar with snacks and refreshments. The mineral spring water has a temperature of 65 degrees Celsius, which is lowered to 40 degrees before being fed into the pool. For bird lovers, Grosse Barmen is a paradise with up to 150 species of birds. Many of the birds nest in the reeds near the lake.
