Cape Nordkapp is the northernmost point in Europe, 307 m high, and is located on the Magerø Island, near the small Norwegian harbour town of Hammerfest. Nordkapp is the largest of three granite rock outcroppings, with a flat top on the on the flat top of which there are small lakes in the stony tundra. The promontory serves as the most important coastal landmark for ships. From here, from the observation deck, a magnificent view of the boundless Arctic Ocean against a background of celestial flashes of the Northern Lights.

The cape got its name in 1533 thanks to English explorer Richard Chancellor, who was trying to find a north-eastern sea route to China.

Inside the mountain is the "Royal Cape Nordkapp Club", in the hall of which a videogram of the cape is shown on a screen showing a videogram of the changing seasons. Those who wish can become members of this Cube by obtaining a stamped document certifying that they have visited the so-called "Edge of the World".

There is a restaurant and a souvenir shop for tourists. Here you can also see the monument "Children of War", symbolising creative works about peace and friendship, as well as the Thailand pavilion, dedicated to the King of Siam, who visited the Cape in 1907.

Lovers have weddings on Nordkapp, marrying in the world's northernmost chapel, St Johanan's Chapel.
