Walking along Manila's waterfront is one of the best ways to enjoy the sunset over Manila Bay. This is where in the evenings hundreds, if not thousands, of families looking to spend time together, couples in love, and visitors to the city.

Manila Bay is the main harbour of the Philippine capital and is about 19 kilometres wide. Along its urban shore stretches Rojas Boulevard, which bounds the the waterfront. The boulevard is home to many of Manila's attractions - the ancient Malate Church and the recently restored Raja Suleiman Park, the US Embassy and the chic Manila Yacht Club.

At night, there are open-air cafes where you can savour the local cuisine and marvel at the local cuisine and watch the sunset as well as the sunrise. The restaurants restaurants often host music bands, and are especially crowded on Fridays and Saturdays. There are numerous stalls offering henna tattoos as a souvenir, which is very popular with young people.

On the other side of Manila Bay are mountain peaks of volcanic of volcanic origin, covered with tropical vegetation. 48 kilometres away is the island of Corregidor, a popular holiday destination for Manila residents.
