It is here that the famous Panagsama Beach is located with many hotels, spa resorts, bars and restaurants, and popular among fans of "lazy" holiday White Beach with the purest sand and crystal waters. Outdoor enthusiasts appreciate Moalboal for the excellent opportunities for diving and snorkelling. Located off the coast, the small island of Pescador is considered one of the best dive sites in the Philippines due to its coral reef. The depths are less than 40 metres and visibility is excellent. The reef is located within the Moalboal Marine Park, which is known for its incredible biodiversity, some of the highest in the world. The exact number of fish species living in the waters of the park is unknown, but according to rough estimates it is 2.5 thousand! That's about 70% of all fish species recorded in the Philippines.
And 20 kilometres from Moalboal, you can find beautiful waterfalls, hidden among the forested caves and shallow but very interesting canyons.
