My Application

The Royal Route connects the Royal Castle with the summer residence in Lazienki. Lazienki means "baths." Their history begins with a wooden fortress of the Mazovian dukes. 300 years later, in the 16th century, Anna Jagiellonka, wife of Stefan Batory, lived here. Stefan Bathory's wife; the first wooden baths were built under her rule. Sigismund III Vasa built the magnificent Ujazdowski Palace here in 1623. Then Marshal Stanislav Marshal Stanisław Lubomirski ruled here: he built two small pavilions not far from the palace, in a forested thicket. he built two small pavilions - the Hermitage and the Lázně. King Stanisław August Poniatowski rebuilt the palace and turned the forests into a park, giving the Laznia a modern appearance.
