The village of Jakubowice is located near Wrocław. One of its main attractions is the Jakubus Manor, which consists of three guest houses, one of which is set in a late 19th century castle, a riding school, a sports club, a bar and a restaurant surrounded by a picturesque park. The hotel complex covers an area of 40 hectares.
The Jakubovice Spa organises 30 equestrian events per year. Each of these events is a sports festival for professionals who can't imagine life without horse riding and are used to spending all their free time in the saddle, and an entertaining event for lesser-known equestrian enthusiasts. In summer, the Tour Silesia Equestrian competition takes place here, bringing together riders with their horses from all over the world. A little later Jakubowice hosts the Equestrian Championships, in which only Polish riders take part. Two weeks after that, children compete on ponies at the local racecourse. In September there is a dressage competition "Dancing Horses" - a demonstration of how elegant and harmonious the rider and horse look.
The equestrian school at the Hotel Jakubus teaches how to sit in the saddle, know the basic commands and be able to apply them in practice, not to be afraid of horses and simply enjoy horseback riding. The school staff offers professional individual lessons, horseback riding and horse and carriage rides. It is better to combine lessons at the equestrian school with attending spectacular events at the racecourse.
