Park "Salgirka" was founded in the 19th century by the academician, the famous geographer P.S.Pallas. In 1827 a house was built here for Prince Mikhail Semenovich Vorontsov. Here the prince stopped on the way to his Alupkinsky palace.
Vorontsov's house stands out for its clear architectural planning and colonnade Doric style, as well as a terrace that descends to the park steps. On either on either side of them are marble lions. Also interesting is the kitchen building with windows and chimneys in Gothic style. chimneys in the Gothic style, stylised to look like the Bakhchisarai Palace.
