Terra Mitica is not just an amusement park. Getting to the "mythical land", the visitor in an instant is transported in time and gets to the ancient civilisations of the Mediterranean. Terra Mitica" means "Land of Myths". This name was not given to the park by chance. Its creators tried to "revive" in live pictures mythical civilisations of the past epochs. Here you can easily become an Egyptian, a Greek, a Roman, an Iberian or an inhabitant of islands. At the same time you have a great opportunity to either remain an observer or become one of the actors of the performances unfolding right before your eyes. The famous attractions of the park, using the latest achievements of scientific and technological progress (special effects, robots, holograms, etc.), create a unique entourage of the time.
The park is divided into five thematic zones: Egypt, Greece, Rome, Iberia, Islands. In the Labyrinth of the Minotaur ("El Laberinto del Minotauro") you will ride in special carriages and you will have to fight off all sorts of evil things waiting for you around every corner. "Magnus Colossus is the largest wooden roller coaster in Europe, which imitates Roman siege fortifications. The length of the structure is one and a half kilometres, the height is 50 metres, the carriages (two trains with 32 passengers each) can accelerate up to 100 km per hour. Specially installed cameras on the steepest turns show your facial expression in the most tense moments of descent.
You can spend an unforgettable day in the park "Terra Mitica". But to explore all the "mythical lands" with feeling, with purpose, with a balance, you will need at least three days. And that, during this time you will barely be able to see all the performances and street processions, ride on all the rides and walk around the souvenir shops.
