Liseberg is a holiday park for the whole family with amusement rides, a universal pavilion for circus performances, concerts and dance evenings. The park was laid out in 1923 to celebrate the 300th anniversary of Gothenburg. Its popularity can only be can only be compared to the popularity of Tivoli Park in Copenhagen or Grena Lund in Stockholm. The park is open from April to September.
