The interior of the church is in keeping with Zwingli's idea that nothing in the church should distract the congregation from their prayers. Frescoes of the XV-XVI centuries have been preserved in the choirs. In the crypt one can see poorly preserved paintings with images of Christian martyrs and a statue Charlemagne of the century.
