Mini Siam is a miniature park located on Sukhumvit Road, near Pattaya Hospital. On a large fenced-in plot of land, several 1:25 scale replicas of local landmarks were installed in 1986. The collection was gradually added to. Between the replicas of temples, palaces, bridges and towers, walking paths were laid out and flowerbeds with lush green grass and miniature bonsai trees were planted.
Now the territory of Mini Siam Park is divided into two parts. One contains replicas of sights from Thailand and neighbouring Asian countries. Here you can see a reduced image of the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok or the Angkor Wat complex in Cambodia. The second part of the park is reserved for the most prominent buildings of the rest of the world, although it is called Mini Europe. In addition to famous European sights (London's Tower Bridge, Roman Coliseum, Paris Arc de Triomphe), there are copies of the Sydney Opera House, the Statue of Liberty, the Pyramid of Cheops and many other iconic monuments. The creators of the Mini-Siam Park have not forgotten about Russian sights. Attentive guests will surely find replicas of St. Basil's Cathedral and the famous Volgograd monument erected in honour of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
All models are created with amazing accuracy. Some are complete with moving parts. For example, at the replica of Bangkok airport, a group of visitors always gathers to watch the endless movement of miniature aeroplanes.
Locals recommend visiting Mini-Siam at dusk, when the park's beautiful lighting is switched on.
