Thailand (Thai ประเทศไทย), officially the Kingdom of Thailand (Thai ราชอาณาจักรไทย) and formerly referred to as Siam, stands as a vibrant nation nestled in Southeast Asia upon the Indochinese Peninsula.

This country is embraced by Myanmar to the northwest, Laos to the northeast, Cambodia to the southeast, while being caressed by the Gulf of Thailand and Malaysia to the south, and the Andaman Sea to the southwest.
