The Tunisian resort of Hammamet has two water parks that are not part of hotel complexes. One of them is called "Flipper". This name is an abbreviation. It consists of the first letters of epithets that describe the water park in the superlative degree: paradisiacal, amazing, etc.
Flipper Water Park was opened in 2002. Its attractions and pools are located on the territory of 20 thousand metres square. Up to a thousand guests can stay in the water park at a time.
The water park is divided into children's and adult zones. For adult visitors are offered several slides, among which can be found extreme "Kamikaze" and standard "Multislide", designed for family descents. There is also a Lazy River - an elongated pool with a slow flow, on which you can swim on water trampolines.
Quite a relaxing holiday is also possible in the pools of the water park. One of them is a tank with a waterfall, the other is equipped with devices for hydromassage.
The children's area of the water park "Flipper" is small. There are only three low and gentle slides for the youngest and a children's playground for older children.
In between exploring the attractions of the park you can have a snack in local bars and restaurants. They also serve delicious ice-cream and soft drinks. Both food and drink must be paid extra.
If you accidentally forgot your sunglasses, sunscreen or even a swimming costume in your hotel room, it's no reason to get upset or abandon your plans to relax in the water park. All these and many other things are sold in the shop on its premises.
