Butterfly Valley is located on the west coast of Belgeiz Bay. It is only accessible by sea, so boats from Fethiye leave daily for this marvellous place.
The valley is named after the beautiful Tiger Butterfly, whose numerous colonies live here. Apart from the Tiger Butterfly, the valley is home to almost every species of butterfly in the Mediterranean. Be sure to take a walk along the path to the picturesque waterfalls.
There is one more place worth seeing in the valley - the ancient village of Faralla, now called Uzunyurt. You can reach it by following the path going away from the coast to the right.
