Not far from Kusadasi is the wonderful Dilek National Park. Most of this reserve is closed to tourists as a military zone. The most frequently visited section is a 10 kilometre stretch of road that goes past the four beautiful pebble beaches. Here you can see representatives of Mediterranean flora - chestnut groves with dry shrubs. The park is home to Anatolian cheetahs and wild horses - the only ones left in Turkey.
