Marmaris Bay has an area of three hundred and sixty-six square kilometres. kilometres. The marina hides in the heart of Marmaris, in a very picturesque place. The seaport has about 3,400 registered yachts, 640 of which belong to foreign owners. The marina provides shelter in all weathers for more than 750 yachts.
At the end of May, crews and captains come here to choose the yachts and ships, to take tourists all season long to all corners of the Mediterranean: Italy, Turkey and Greece. The International Yacht Festival - an international sailing festival. The only drawbacks are that the space for repairs and parking on the shore is very small, which makes maneuvering in the marina difficult, and the water in the water area is not clean, so swimming is definitely not possible. At night and in the evening it is quite noisy due to the proximity of the famous Bar Street.
Of course, the good thing about Marina is that it is located in close proximity to the city - you can walk to the center in ten minutes. It is located next to the promenade and is separated from it by a humped footbridge.
People who have never seen a sailing yacht in person come here to learn yachting, to learn to sail. They're helped to learn the skills they need to sail a sailing yacht and understand the poetry of the sea. For many people, it's a complete revolution and the first step towards a new page in their lives. Netsel Marina is home to three sailing schools, two of which have been operating for a very long time: the American school International Yachtmaster Training (IYT), represented by Gokova Yachting, and the British school Royal Yachting Association (RYA), represented by Yuksel Yachting. Most recently, the East Aegean Sea School was opened, created on the basis of the Phoenix Yachting company. This school was created jointly with the leading school in the UK - East Anglian Sea School and certified by the Royal Yachting Association.
Netsel Marina has gained a lot of popularity due to its huge shopping centres. On its territory you can see many shops where yachting equipment, boutiques with branded clothing, souvenir shops, markets, bars and luxury restaurants. The yacht equipment shops are located near the Marina, in an area called Sariana.
