The country's main attraction is the famous giant Victoria Falls, 120 metres high and almost 2 kilometres wide. - is located in the country's border region on the Zambezi River near the town of Livingstone. The Zambian side of the falls is sometimes undeservedly forgotten when describing this natural wonder, but on the other hand, it provides a much smaller influx of tourists and easier access to viewing platforms than on the more publicised Zimbabwean side of the falls. One of the best places to get a 'close-up' view of Victoria is at Knife Edge Point, which can only be reached via a thin but perfectly safe footbridge that passes right through veritable clouds of water spray to a rocky cliff island rising in the middle of the river. If the water is low and the wind is favourable, the magnificent panorama of the falls and the view of the gaping chasm below the Zambezi Bridge more than compensate for the slight difficulty of the climb. Other dizzying ways of accessing the falls offered to tourists include helicopter, light aeroplane or paraglider flights, white water rafting and canoeing. Here, on the "Victoria Falls Bridge" there is also the world's largest attraction "bungie jump" (better known in our country as "bungee jump") - the height of the jumping point is 111 metres.
