Gonarezhou, the second largest game reserve in Zimbabwe (approximately 505,000 hectares), is located in the south-east on the border with Mozambique. In addition to animals that can be seen in other reserves, Gonarezhou National Park is home to the very rare, almost never seen in public, nyala antelope. The park offers excellent views of the Chiloho Rocks, which, because of their red-red steep fortress-like walls, seem to "guard" the Limpopo River, which flows further into Mozambique.
