Mainau

Mainau ⓘalso referred to as Mav(e)no(w), Maienowe (in 1242), Maienow (in 1357), Maienau, Mainowe (in 1394) and Mainaw (in 1580) is an island in Lake Constance (on the Southern shore of the Überlinger See near the city of Konstanz, Baden-Württemberg, Germany). It is maintained as a garden island and a model of excellent environmental practices. Administratively, the island has been a part of Konstanz since December 1, 1971, when the municipality of Litzelstetten, of which Mainau was part, was incorporated into Konstanz. Mainau is still part of Litzelstetten, now one of 15 wards (administrative subdivisions) of Konstanz.

Reichenau Island (German: ) is an island in Lake Constance in Southern Germany. It lies almost due west of the city of Konstanz, between the Gnadensee and the Untersee, two parts of Lake Constance. With a total land surface of 4 km2 (1 sq mi) and a circumference of 11 km (6 mi), the island is 4 km (2 mi) long and 1 km (0 mi) wide at its greatest extent. The highest point, the Hochwart, stands some 43 m (141 ft) above the lake surface and 438 m (1,439 ft) above mean sea level.

Hohentwiel (German pronunciation: ⓘ) is a mountain of volcanic origin in the Hegau region of Baden-Württemberg in southern Germany. It is the Hausberg of the industrial city of Singen, located west of it and ca 10 km (6 mi) west of Zeller See (Lake Constance). The ruins of the medieval Hohentwiel Castle rest on top of it.
