National Civil War Naval Museum at Port Columbus

The National Civil War Naval Museum, located in Columbus, Georgia, United States, is a 40,000-square-foot (3,700 m2) facility that features remnants of two Confederate States Navy vessels. Fort Benning (named Fort Moore from 2023–2025) is a United States Army post in the Columbus, Georgia area. Springer Opera House

The Springer Opera House is a historic theater at 103 Tenth Street in Downtown Columbus, Georgia, United States. First opened February 21, 1871, the theater was named the State Theatre of Georgia by Governor Jimmy Carter for its 100th anniversary season and made permanent by the 1992 Georgia State Legislature. In its early days, the Springer hosted legendary performers such as Edwin Booth, Lily Langtry, Oscar Wilde, Will Rogers, Ethel Barrymore, Agnes de Mille and John Philip Sousa.
