Those who enjoy walking have the opportunity to walk along the Värská hiking trails on their own or with a guide.

One of these trails, about 5 kilometres long, is located around Lake Yrsava. The circular trail was created in 2006 and is equipped with three information boards: "General Reegi's House", "Vjarska I Drill Well" and "North Camp". There are 2 rest areas on the trail, with an equipped campfire site, and there are 2 bathing places on the trail.

Another hiking trail Meenikunno, 5.8 km long, consists of two parts. The first, which is 2.4 kilometres long, is a road made of planks laid out on the marsh. The second part is a forest trail, 3.4 kilometres long. On the trail there is a large meteorite crater called "hell's grave". This crater is more than 6000 years old. Its diameter is 80 metres and its depth is 12.5 metres. The trail is equipped with 13 information boards, which will introduce you to the forest and the bog. It ends with an observation tower.

Another 6.6 km long Vyhandu Trail can be travelled on foot or by bicycle, and if you are here in winter, you can also go skiing. The trail is equipped with signposts, as well as 12 information boards with descriptions of the objects of interest.
