Gabon

Gabon, officially the Gabonese Republic, stands as a country nestled along the Atlantic shores of Central Africa, on the equator. Its neighboring countries include Equatorial Guinea to the northwest, Cameroon to the north, the Republic of the Congo to the east and south and the Gulf of Guinea to the west. Covering approximately 270,000 square kilometres (100,000 square miles), Gabon boasts diverse terrains, from its sprawling coastal plains to the majestic peaks of the Cristal Mountains and the Chaillu Massif located in the centre, along with an expansive savanna gracing its eastern landscape.
