The wet tropical forests of Atsinanana are relict forests located on the eastern coast of the island of Madagascar. In 2007, a number of conservation areas located within the forests were listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and in 2010 the forests were included in the list of World Heritage Sites in Danger of Extinction.
